Frank Dahlquist is a seasoned fire service professional with more than two decades of experience in firefighting, operations, and leadership. Rising through every rank from volunteer firefighter to Fire Chief, he has developed strong expertise in training, emergency management, wildland operations, and workforce development.

Frank is a certified instructor with the Washington State Patrol Fire Training Academy, where he has taught firefighters across multiple disciplines for more than a decade. His work focuses on developing future leaders, improving safety, and strengthening the fire service through education.

When he’s not teaching or writing, Frank enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and fly fishing with his family.
